Solar House in Dunmanway, West Cork
The house consists of two highly-glazed pavilions linked at the point of entry. The south walls are fully glazed while the north face is solid, generally used as a storage wall, and highly insulated; this gives the building an effective passive solar form, with top-up heating from a ground source heat pump.
